An American Dream Come True

GTA IV, at its release, was the definition of next gen gaming and what future open world experiences in that generation should be like. This was my very first game that I bought when I finally sold enough to own an Xbox 360. It was a game that I had to step back and look at after first playing, because its immersion was something I was not used too. In the series first entry on the console, many wondered if Rockstar could succeeded and continue to impress after making hit after hit. Of course, they did, and the rest is history. Niko Bellic's story is a great one, filled with violence, pain, and struggle. Trying to live a normal life stateside is not as easy as it seemed, and the American Dream would not come without bloodshed. The voice acting was amazing, controls and graphics were top notch, and everything in between was polished down to the t. Prior to playing it I had never been so impressed by how detailed a street could look, let alone the damage a car could take aesthetically. Rockstar has always made their games fully fleshed it, with minor to major things being done to perfection. Not to mention the online free roam that was great for playing around. Grand Theft Auto is a notorious franchise, and GTA IV is a great reminder of what Rockstar has been able to do time and time again. 10/10 #TextCast #Player2Reviews
