Resident Evil 7 Announced, Aims To Bring Fear Back to the Series

After some clear re-evaluations about the franchise's direction, Resident Evil 7 was officially announced last night during Sony's E3 press conference. After much criticism on how the series roots had been muddled in recent entries, particularly in Resident Evil 5 and 6, this trailer definitely gives a scary vibe. The game will be releasing on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 with full Playstation VR support as well. But is it a Resident Evil title still? That is my one concern, as the title will be in a first person perspective for the first time ever and no detailed looks at a "zombie" were shown, giving off a more Outlast or haunted house vibe as opposed to drawing clear inspiration from the original trilogy. There is a demo out right now, so hopefully that will shed some light as to wear the game is heading in terms of inspirations. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments.
"Set within a sinister plantation mansion in modern day rural America and taking place after the dramatic events of Resident Evil 6, players experience the terror directly from the first person perspective for the first time in the Resident Evil series. Embodying the iconic gameplay elements of exploration and tense atmosphere that first coined “survival horror” some twenty years ago, Resident Evil 7 biohazard delivers a disturbingly realistic experience that will define the next era in horror entertainment."

South Park: The Fractured But whole is Coming December 6th

Not sure if all you guys know but we are huge South Park fans. We love the show and "The Stick of Truth" but this new trailer for "South Park: The Fractured but Whole" has amazed me.
The trailer takes us back a few seasons with Cartman's Coon and friends, showing them arguing over how to make the superhero franchise and how to make the most money. They add in jokes about Marvel's superhero movie plan also adding in some jokes about their Netflix series. The trailer shows some other characters dressed up as well. Toward the end of the trailer the friends split up because of arguing about how to plan the movies and start a civil war. (haha marvel's civil war) There is also a few DC comics jokes thrown in and a jab at JJ Abrams. At the end however Cartman is seen at the storage units, introducing P.C. Principle and he states "did i hear someone use a micro aggression". Possible a bad guy? Who knows but we are excited for the game to drop December 6th so mark your calendars it'll be be here before we know it. In the trailer it also shows that "The Stick of Truth" will come with a copy of "FBW" and with a pre-order you'll get some cool Towlie content.

Also announced was a collectors edition of the title, which will run you $100 bucks for the base package or $130 to get the season pass included! Take a look below.

E3 2016: New Prey title coming in 2017

After rumors swirled about Bethesdas E3 press conference, multiple were confirmed last night (including the existence of Skyrim Remastered) during the revealing presentation. One of those confirmations was Prey, a remimaging of a 2006 title of the same name. The original title was going to get a very different sequel some years back, but it never came to be. In the trailer below we are treated to a cinematic look at what appears to be a creepy-cool sci-fi conspiracy of sorts. Nothing much other than a release window of 2017 was revealed, though the official trailer description gives a bit more insight. Stay tuned for more E3 news as it comes our way!
Arkane Studios, the team behind the critically acclaimed Dishonored series, is bringing their unique vision to Prey, a first-person sci-fi action game that reimagines the franchise from the ground up… with an added psychological twist.
You are Morgan Yu, the subject of morally dubious experiments designed to improve the human race. You awaken aboard the Talos 1 in the year 2032 and must uncover the secrets hiding in the depths of the space station while being hunted by the mysterious alien force that has taken over. You’ll have to rely on the tools you find on the station – along with your wits, weapons and mind-bending abilities – to combat the growing threat and, hopefully, survive. Get your first look at Prey in the cinematic reveal trailer.

New Map Coming To Rocket League in Free Update

On June 20th, Rocket League players will be treated to a brand new map free of charge. Neo Tokyo is the re-imagining of a Rocket Labs map, and it looks fantastic. With raised sides and a noticeably higher wall above the goal, it looks to change the way you approach scoring. Also shown in the trailer below are two new paid DLC cars that will be available first on the physical collectors edition, and available to purchase sometime after. To date, Rocket League is the only game to receive a perfect 10/10 on Player2Reviews, and it just keeps getting better with age. Check out the trailer below, and stay tuned for more updates as they are announced.

The Technomancer Gets Ready for E3

I have been anxiously waiting for Spiders' upcoming RPG, The Technomancer, and now it is just over two weeks away. Below is a new trailer that adds some dialogue to the story at hand, while showing off the vast wasteland that is Mars. This is the most excited I have been for an RPG in quite sometime, and I am looking forward to playing it later this month. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments!
"The Technomancer shows off the chaotic Red Planet in its E3 trailer
With a cover of "House of the Rising Sun" that turns up the heat

The Technomancer, the sci-fi RPG set on Mars, releases on June 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Today we're showcasing the game's E3 Trailer, driven by the Frijid Pink's legendary cover of the rock classic "House of the Rising Sun". Delve into the chaotic world of Mars, a planet that is torn by war and political conflict.

Mars is a barren wasteland that is home to the forgotten children of Earth. On the surface, warring corporations fight wars from their massive domed cities for one resource: water. Underground, hidden between the crags or in unexplored valleys, you will factions struggling for their own profit, or mutants permanently changed by the sun's radiation and hated by the rest of humankind.

Here you play as a Technomancer - a formidable warrior harnessing destructive electrical powers. Travel with your companions, choosing between diplomacy, combat, or trickery to resolve quests. Gain experience to level up your character, and learn new skills or upgrade perks across 4 unique skill trees. Loot, buy, and craft more powerful equipment and weaponry for yourself and teammates to stand a chance of surviving! Only you can forge the destiny of Mars.

For more information, don't forget to plunge in the Gameplay Trailer that covers the games' RPG mechanics, and the Compagnons Trailer that will describe all the interactions and relationships you can build with you teammates.

The Technomancer will be playable at E3 2016 in Focus Home Interactive's booth, West Hall #5200.

Forge the destiny of Mars when The Technomancer comes out on June 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC."
