11/15/2015 0 Comments Extra Life 2015 Wrap Up
Another Extra Life has come and gone. I had a great time playing with friends and teammates Cole and Hugo in person, while Lee and I had some fun Halo time before I handed the late night streaming portion over to him. Thanks to my wonderful girlfriend Nadine and sister Mia for helping me manage multiple screens and making the whole time more fun. We had a lot of support and want to thank everyone who tuned in, shared, and donated for helping such a great cause. Our team did not hit the anticipated goal of $600, but together we blew my personal goal out of the water! You can watch most of our 24 hour live stream (which I successfully completed!) over on our Twitch. Take a look at some of the stats below!
By Edwin Velez11/12/2015 0 Comments Rise of the Tomb Raider Review![]() Lara Croft returns in Rise of the Tomb Raider, the sequel to 2013’s critically acclaimed reboot Tomb Raider, and she is in full effect. Taking place one year after the events of the first, Lara is a seasoned and determined explorer. She uncovers a particular mystery that her father was investigating prior to his untimely death when she was young, and becomes obsessed with proving he was right. What follows is an intense, emotional, and breathtaking adventure that takes Lara to Siberia in search of a pseudo fountain of youth known as the “Divine Source.” This ancient artifact was said to be a source of immortality, and the obsession behind it defamed her father now plagues her. Full Review Here By Edwin Velez*Updated 12/17/15 Afters months and months of waiting post E3, Microsoft has finally revealed their over 100 Xbox 360 titles that can be played on your Xbox One come November 12th. A lot of suspected games like Red Dead Redemption and Halo are noticeably absent, but may come soon. Titles will be added often it seems, with Halo and Bioshock already scheduled to work down the line. This new feature allows sequels like Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3 to come included with the predecessors as added incentive and is sure to help Microsoft to some capacity in the sales war between itself and Sony's ever popular PS4. Its a shame there is not more on disc options for the initial release, but nonetheless a much appreciated feature for this owner of a ton of Xbox 360 games. Check out the full list below.

RAffles Galore! Donate Donate Donate!By Edwin Velez11/6/2015 0 Comments Halo 5: guardians Review![]() I have been a fan of the Halo series since I first picked up the original Xbox controller and started Halo 2. With that being said I’ve played all of the Halo games in the series, but I don’t remember every piece of the story so bear with me. For this review, I decided to split it into two portions Campaign and Multiplayer. Overall I enjoyed playing the Campaign it was very well constructed I enjoyed the whole idea of the chase that Osiris was after Blue team. It has a good mystery of what you’re exactly after Chief and Cortana for. There were really nice cut scenes between missions and some in-game ones. The gameplay itself is very action packed. The new multiplayer modes are very fun to play and are easy to get into. I think the REQ packs are a good way to make sure that the Power weapons and vehicles are distributed evenly against the teams, rather than the better players rushing these weapon spawns and out playing lower-skilled ones.
