Darksiders III Announced

Darksiders 3, the latest title from THQ Nordic has been announced and is slated for release in 2018. This hack-n-slash action adventure is the sequel of acclaimed titles, Darksiders and Darksiders 2, titles developed by THQ before filing for bankrupt and picked up by THQ Nordic in the previous years. CEO and Co-Founder of THQ Nordic, Lars Wingefors, stated: “as promised, we have taken our time to ensure that this next Darksiders will be everything action-adventures gamers and especially Darksiders loyalists could dream of and more”. It has also been announced that THQ Nordic is working with Gunfire Games, which is largely comprised of the original creators of Darksiders, on this new project.

Darksiders 3 is a hack-n-slash action adventure where the player takes on the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and destroy the Seven Deadly Sins. As a mage, FURY relies on her whip and magic to restore the balance between good and evil. Darksiders 3 is presented as an open-ending, living, free-form planet Earth that is enveloped by war and decay.
