HARDWIRED: TekBotic Micro USB Braided Cable (10FT)

Cell phone chargers are a common household products. Plenty of companies manufacture and sell them, so in a lot of cases it is hard to tell which ones should stand out in a crowd. There are thousands and thousands of options out there, so what is right for you? Well if you have a Fast Charging capable phone, let me tell you, this is an easy purchase. This charger from TekBotic boasts a 10 foot length, has fast charging capabilities, and is braided for added durability. Now there are many out there like this with similar qualities, but TekBotics manages to stand out and feel well made and perform as such. This is the only charger I have used with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that managed to rival, if not best, the stock charger it came with. The first clear advantage you will notice is the length. At 10ft long, this charger has a staggering 6ft advantage over the package 4ft charger my device came with (most chargers are around this length, if not shorter.) Late nights on my phone in bed are made a lot easier now, with no tugging of the cord or awkward positioning. The TekBotic charger has more than enough slack to let you charge and use with ease. This length makes it ideal for charging your PS4 or Xbox One controller across the room while remaining in the game. Another advantage here is for mobile gamers. Not only can you charge and play comfortably, but if you are a fan of using your mobile device as a VR platform, you should really consider this charger. When paired with my Samsung Gear VR, I have much more mobility if I need to be attached to the charger. This is perfect for either showing off the VR or engaging in longer or more power based sessions.

Within half an hour of dedicated charging (little to no phone use) you will easily climb 25-40% in my experiences, and go from <15% to full in not much more than an hour. Even when using and charging, your battery life will steadily climb. It’s worth noting that I tested this charger out with an LG G3 as well to see how it faired with a failing battery. It seems as though not even a fantastic charger like this can save the older device, as the charging results were poor. The message here is that if you have poor battery life as it is, a high quality charger is not going to fix that. It also works well with my wireless charger, which unfortunately does not support fast charging.  In addition to the benefits of the length and the charging performance, it also has a great look and feel to it. I chose the red cord, which is sleek, vibrant, and capable. The cord is braided, so not only is it durable but rarely tangles itself. The chrome tips give it that extra edge in the aesthetic department as well. At the end of the day, this charge does what it should and then some. It is ideal for those who use their devices heavily, both at home or inbetween stops. Realistically you could pay for some “Name Brand” charger at twice the price or more with only half the benefits, but why do that when TekBotic has crafted such a phenomenal charger?
