Nightmare Boy, the latest title from The Vanir Project and published by BadLand Games, is coming to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One in Q3 of 2017. This title is a “psychedelic” metroidvania 2D platformer that lives in a world that thrives on your worst nightmares. Victor Avila, The Vanir Project’s head programmer states that “[They] hope players will get a kick out of Nightmare Boy’s unique look, atmosphere, and story, while facing unspeakable, unstoppable horrors”. This title provides a hellish open world in your adventure to save children from various captors. Each child saved will grant the player special abilities, such as double jump and various projectiles.
