PaRappa the Rapper 20th Anniversary Remaster
    
   PaRappa the Rapper, another old Playstation 1 era game that is near and dear to my heart, is in for a good ‘ole HD spitshine. Originally released back in 1997, PaRappa is set to be remastered and released on Playstation 4 sometime in 2017 to celebrate the game’s 20th anniversary.
    
   I find it hard to believe that it has already been 20 years since the first time I Kick-Punch-Chopped with PaRappa alongside Chop-Chop Master Onion on Sony’s little gray box of joy. Time sure does fly when you aren’t paying close enough attention. For those of you who never played it when you were younger (or maybe weren’t even born yet!), PaRappa the Rapper is a zany rhythm game that follows the various misadventures of the game’s titular  dog-like hero as he tries to find the courage to express his feelings to Sunny, the flowery girl of his dreams.
  
     Don’t want to wait? Can’t wait? The demo for the 20th anniversary remaster is available now for download via Playstation 4’s PSN. I’ve already played the demo (of course I have) and the colorful cartoonish graphics have never looked more vivid and crisp. You only get to play the first level, but it’s Chop-Chop Master Onion, so it’s all good. The Playstation 1 version of PaRappa the Rapper released in North America during the month of November, but hopefully that isn’t the month  that they plan to release the remaster in and we’ll get it earlier 2017. Because… wait for it… “You Gotta Believe!!!”
