Rocket League Xbox One/PS4 Cross Platform Play Ready to Go, Just Needs Sony's Approval
There was a discussion months ago about Xbox One players and PC players coming together to play Rocket League together, via cross play between the two platforms. Since than Xbox One and PC users have been able to fly and score goals against one and other, and now all of the stars have aligned to make Xbox One, PS4, and PC gamers able to play on the same game with each other! Only issue is getting Sony's approval for this. Psyonix's Vice President has expressed that it's all in Sony's hands as far as how quickly it could happen or even if they'd allow it at all (which I hope it would work out). For myself as a student I have a lot of friends who have either PS4 or Xbox One and to be able to play just Rocket League would be great. We shall see what Sony's decision comes to and how quick this will get implemented in the game! In the meantime read Edwin's review, which earned our first ever 10/10.
