SUNDERED REVEALED, NEW GAME FROM JOTUN DEVS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED

     The developers at Thunder Lotus Games are back at it again. The creators of the excellent Jotun: Valhalla Edition has unveiled their latest offering, a Metroidvania style action-horror game named Sundered. Sundered takes place in a dark universe heavily influenced by the writing of H.P. Lovecraft, who is arguably the grand-daddy of all American horror novelists. Building upon the strengths of Jotun, Sundered will include epic boss battles and gorgeous hand-drawn graphics, and deeper immersion.
     The story centers around a lone wanderer in a ruined world named Eshe. Trapped in a cavern filled with eldritch monstrosities, Eshe must explore and fight for his survival AND his sanity. He will have to harness the power of corrupted relics to defeat gigantic bosses, at the cost of his humanity. So just to sum up all that is known so far, the game will feature;

• Beautiful hand-drawn art
• Massive boss fights
• Dynamic encounters against hordes of enemies
• Procedural world
• Corruptible abilities
• Multiple endings
• Meaningful choices to make

      There will be a playable version of Sundered at TwitchCon 2016 (Sept. 30th to Oct. 2nd in San Diego) so if you’re attending be sure to try it out and let us know! I for one am dying to get my mitts on this game, it sounds very interesting. And given how great Jotun was, this is a game that I will be keeping an eye out for. Sundered is set for a 2017 release on PC and PS4.
