Xbox E3 Conference Wrap Up

This year Microsoft delivered what was undoubtedly one of their best E3 presentations ever. Packed with plenty of games and very little gimmicks, they brought what the fans wanted. From Halo to Gears, system updates, and looking towards the future, Xbox hit a home run. Here is a quick run down of the biggest news from the conference.

Halo 5 Gameplay, Multiplayer Details
The conference began with some exciting Halo 5 details and footage, bringing the hype up right away. Viewers got a closer look at some of the story details, as well as the new Warzone multiplayer mode. Guardians releases October 27th of this year.
Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility Coming This Year
This exciting news made the crowd go absolutely wild. Coming this holiday and available now for preview members, Xbox One owners can play some of their Xbox 360 games on the current gen system. This is not only a good way to get Xbox 360 owners upgraded to next gen, but also to re-live some classics with added features like Twitch streaming and screenshots.

Gears of War 4 Announced, Coming Holiday 2016
Everyone knew it was coming, but boy was it exciting to finally see it. Gears 4 shows no signs of any of the original cast so far and is light on details, but the six minutes or so of gameplay look crisp, clean, and bloody.
New Xbox One Homepage, Cortana Coming This Holiday
The home screen is getting a facelift this holiday as well as Cortana integration to match the overall Windows experience. The new layout looks great, and much more streamlined from the initial standard. It will be an exciting holiday season no doubt.
Elite Controller Reveal
This professional gaming controller sureeee is a beauty, but it is going to run you $150. Ouch!
HoloLens Actually Impresses
Surprisingly, Microsofts newest perhiphial is actually really cool. How it will be applied beyond Minecraft though is yet to be seen.
Well that does it for this years E3 from Microsoft. It was a great one! To see what we did not mention in the news packed event, watch the whole thing below!
